Welcome to the inaugural post here at Dust Collected. In the coming weeks and months this site will grow with articles covering topics from software engineering and woodworking, two of my current passions.

By day I'm a software engineer, coming up on my 14th year of employment at PixelMEDIA, based in Portsmouth, NH. My current niche is content management system integration, specializing in Sitecore implementations. This past January I was picked as a 2014 Sitecore Most Valuable Professional (MVP).

About 3 years ago after my wife and I built and purchased our first home I finally had the opportunity to begin building out a basement workshop. I have for a long time felt that while I build things all day long, you can't hold what I build. Woodworking has given me the opportunity to fulfill this desire.

I haven't been in the shop for a couple months now, but my current ongoing project is a pair of mission style end tables to accompany our new living room sectional sofa. I'll be documenting that process as much as I can going forward.
